Ready to grow your va business? Help is here!

Having your own VA business is awesome. But it takes a lot of daily work, especially the marketing part. People can't hire you if they don't know you exist. There's so much to learn from other VA's and we all need a little push to remain consistent in growing our business. That's what this group is for.

Do any of these sound familiar?

I see lots of VA's trying to grow their businesses in the Facebook groups I belong to. They struggle with the same tasks - how to find clients and get them booked, how to conduct Discovery Calls with potential clients, how to set boundaries with difficult clients, how to get paid on time and much more. Should you work for free to get testimonials? How should you set your pricing? What services should you offer to your clients?

Do you have these same questions? I'm betting that you do. These are all important questions that we will discuss in our weekly Zoom calls and discussion threads.

We will hold bi-weekly Zoom group calls with other VA’s to talk about what’s working, what you’re struggling with, and how to move forward. #communityovercompetition There are plenty of clients for all – let’s help each other succeed.

As an experienced VA and blogger, I’ve got some great tech tips to share with you, but I also want the members to learn from each other.  I don’t pretend to know it ALL, but together, we can figure everything out.

We’ll talk about the important legal aspects of a VA business.  Why you need contracts and where to get them. How to set up your bookkeeping and income tracking. How to handle unhappy clients.

What if you could...

Start a profitable VA business or improve your existing VA business.  Let’s face it, we all procrastinate and avoid things sometimes, but with a regular group to cheer you on, you could get unstuck and start moving forward in your business.  Are you up for it??

Welcome photo

I’ve run a successful VA business for nearly a decade.  I’ve mostly worked as a Pinterest Manager, but I also do a variety other services for my clients – build WordPress websites, set up newsletters, help with SEO, and create graphics, etc.

I think it’s hilarious that I’m 62 and I’m running a tech business with my 74 year old sister!  Yep, I’m OLD!  Busting ALL the stereotypes.  I actually LOVE all the tech stuff and I really enjoy coaching and motivating other women to build a profitable business.

I love having a successful business where I can set my own hours and determine my own income to support my family and I’d like every VA to have that same freedom.  After 40 years in the Corporate world as a Financial Analyst for Wells Fargo and other large companies, it’s a been the best move of my life.

I have a lot of experience working with different clients, and have learned all the billing, accounting, and legal  issues to run a successful business.  I believe in providing exceptional customer service – that’s one of the major foundations of my business and I want to share that vision with you as well.

Introducing

Virtual Assistant Accountability Pod

Virtual Assistant Accountability Pod

This is a small, intimate group designed for entrepreneurial women who are either starting a new VA business or just need a ‘lil help moving in the right direction.  Having a boss sucks, but being your OWN boss can be a bit challenging. #amiright  There just aren’t a lot of places to just talk about your struggles and share your victories!  That’s why I created this accountability pod.

Don’t be fooled – this is not a magic pill.  Accountability is literally the name of the game, but it’s good practice for meeting your client’s expectations.  One of the skills of a good VA is to be a good communicator and have a desire to help others, so this is an ideal environment to practice those skills.

Here's what you'll get

Are you ready to move ahead?

The investment is $47 per month and you get the first session for just $1, so you can check out the group.  You can cancel any time, but I’d love it if you could at least commit to give it a try for a couple of months to see if this group is helpful for you.  This isn’t some pre-recorded one-size-fits-all approach – it’s a personalized group to help you deal with your unique real-life challenges.

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s difficult, but it’s still a possibility.  I worked side businesses including my VA business for many years when my kids were growing up and I was working full-time.  But each family and each situation is unique.

This is an important question.  I might have a couple of different groups going at different times, but I’m on Mtn time here in Salt Lake City.  I’m looking at Mondays at 11:00 AM for at least the first group of 10.  I want to stick with a consistent time each week, but I will work with the members to find a time that is workable.  The calls will be an hour.

No, of course not, but it’s like anything else.  The more you put into it, the more you’ll get out of it.  And the calls are what you’re paying for, so you’ll want to attend as often as you can.  No shows are a particular pet peeve of mine, so please do RSVP thoughtfully because I hate to get all hyped up for a call and be sitting there all by my lonesome!

I suggest you book a 15-minute discovery call with me.  We can talk about your challenges and possible strategies to get your VA business started.  Calendly.com/helpfornewbloggers/15min

No worries.  You can have your camera on or not.  And I don’t care if you have makeup and hair done or still have bed hair and jammies.  This is YOUR group and I want to make you comfortable.

I strongly recommend it.  Having a website, even a basic one shows potential clients that you are serious about your business and can be trusted.  But I can help you build a simple website for a reasonable fee.  It’s one of my VA services that I offer clients.
