If you’ve been around Pinterest for any amount of time, you know that group boards are an important part of your strategy. However, it’s not always easy to find Pinterest group boards you can join that are highly-ranked, well-maintained, and are appropriate to your niche.
It’s a real problem as those poorly maintained, catch-all boards can cause problems for you. They can seriously drag down your profile. It might seem like a good idea at the time because it DOES give you a place to share your pins. But you’d be surprised at how little visibility your pins get on these crap boards.
These group boards you can join belong to myself and several clients of mine. They are exactly the types of boards you want to be on. They are focused on a particular topic, they aren’t overpinned because most of them have 5 pin a day limit. And we carefully review each applicant to make sure they are pinning high-quality vertical pins that are consistent with the board topics. Trust me, it makes a big difference.
Of course that means that we’ll be reviewing YOU as well, and I’ll be honest, not everyone gets accepted. Sorry, but that’s how the cookie crumbles. Quality over quantity.
Each one is going to set up in a similar way because that’s one of the things I teach my clients. Most of them will have it’s own Google Doc to track entries and they might be selling a product or two on the welcome page. I don’t know about you, but I’m all for free enterprise. And it just may be a product you want. Or not. I figure it’s like the commercials you need to watch before you get to see the movie. They will INVITE you to join their newsletter, but you can always say no.
Then all you have to do is sit back and wait for your group board invitation. Might take a couple of weeks. These are popular boards and it takes time to review each applicant.
Adrian’s Group Boards You Can Join
I run two accounts – this site for blogger tech and my lifestyle site. Both of them have a number of very successful group boards.
My lifestyle site is Adrian’s Crazy Life. I have more than 35,000 Followers on this account and I cover group boards for a number of categories including:
- Saving money
- Home decor
- Social media
Now here’s my second account – HelpforNewBloggers. It’s newer, so I have fewer Followers over here, but I still have some well maintained group boards that you can join. This account covers the Following topics:
- Social media – General
- Social media – Pinterest/Tailwind
- Social media – Instagram
- Girl Boss
- Affiliate marketing
- I keep meaning to add a VA group board since that’s what I do. I’ll get that added soon
This is Rachel of Two Loves Studio. She does absolutely stunning food photography and has boards for both food and photography-related topics. As you can see, lots of Followers and we’re working on growing her views. She also has some great photography classes. Her boards are tailored to food photography and also sweet and savory recipes.
Social Media/Girl Boss/Bullet Journaling
This is Angela of AngelaGiles. She’s a hotshot internet marketer and has a growing list of social media/marketing/girlboss type boards. And now she’s added even more boards for Bullet Journaling and Printables. With 13,000 Followers that should get you plenty of views for your pins.
So, there ya go! That’s around 30-35 different group boards you can join or at least have a good shot at. I’d say I delivered in spades on my promise to show you some great group boards.
Here are some other Pinterest-related posts you may enjoy.
Blogging resources I love and recommend:
Tailwind – I’ve been working with Tailwind for about five years. They are the pin scheduler of choice and it is jam-packed with great features. If you haven’t already, sign up for a FREE month of Tailwind HERE.
The Isabelle theme by Bluchic – is my favorite theme for WordPress websites. I’ve used it to build a bunch of different websites. It’s pretty, easy to customize, and really simple to use. It’s shown in a very pale pink, but I’ve done it in turquoise, emerald green, and navy/gold color schemes. For safety and security reasons, I will not ever use a free WordPress theme. This is the engine that powers and protects your website. Learn about the Isabelle theme HERE.
Legal Templates – You are required by law to have a certain package of legalese on your blog. You need to have copyright notices, privacy policies, and various other terms and conditions to protect yourself from being sued. The package I recommend is created by Amira Law – a lawyer who specializes in all aspects of blogging and internet business legalities. Learn more about these Legal Templates HERE.
Pinterest Resources – Pinterest is definitely my jam. I have an Ebook that is very affordable and is packed with helpful tips. OR, if you want a more personalized touch, I will do a Pinterest/Tailwind audit where I go over your account with a 30-point checklist and then set up a Zoom call with you to give you TONS of suggestions. Order the Ebook HERE and the Pinterest Audit HERE.
HIRE ME – I make a full-time living taking great care of my blogger peeps. I’ve done Pinterest Management for the last five years for dozens of clients. I set up mailing lists, automations and build pop-ups for people. I can also build you a new website pretty much for FREE. To learn more – go HERE.
