Starting a new blog or revamping a stalled one is a lot of work. There are so many different things you have to learn and get in place - it can be overwhelming. It really helps to have someone who is experienced to show you everything you need to get your blog started off right and position yourself for success in the world of blogging.

I see lots of new new bloggers in the Facebook groups I belong to and they are asking same questions over and over again - what type of site to use, how to set up a mailing list, how to monetize their site, how to get traffic, how to do their SEO, and so much else!

These are all important topics that I will cover in our coaching sessions and I will answer ALL of your questions. I'll also show you all the tech stuff that goes on behind the scenes to make all this stuff happen.

We will work together to help you set up your website and create your posts with the properly sized images and do your SEO correctly to make Google LOVE you!  Your site speed and image formats are very important to grow your traffic.  

We will talk about the social media platforms and which ones are critical to help you find new readers and drive traffic to your new site.  I’ll show you the systems I use to automate multiple daily posts to different platforms. 

The legal aspects of your business are really important.  You’ll learn how to avoid being sued by using proper contracts and disclaimers.  We’ll also cover site security and how to protect your new site from ever-present hackers.

I started blogging way back in 2007, so I’m something of a veteran in the blogging world.  I currently run two different blog sites, which is a lot of work, but I also do a lot of other things as well.  I’m kind of a born overachiever who likes lots of variety in my business.  

In addition to my blogging, I’m a VA (Virtual Assistant) who makes a full-time living from helping other bloggers with all the complicated tech stuff.  I build simple websites, help with social media posting, and advise users on newsletters and other systems needed to ensure success in their blogging journey.  

I started this site about 5 years ago as a way to help new and struggling bloggers learn everything they need to know to be successful in their own blogging business and now I’ve expanded it to one-on-one coaching.  

After 40 years in the Corporate world most of it as a Financial Analyst for Wells Fargo, I retired to be able to other women start their own businesses.  I’m also a recent breast cancer survivor so it’s been a pretty crazy ride.  

I’m particularly focused on making money from blogging.  Blogging can be a very profitable opportunity and I know tons of bloggers who are making a very nice living from their blogs.  It’s really just too much work to not be making money from it.  So that is an area where I have a lot of experience and I want to help you get there too.

This program is designed for women who are ready for the freedom and adventure of running their OWN blogging business.  Once you get all your systems in place, you can run all the behind-the-scenes stuff like clockwork, so you can focus creating your content!  

I will hold your hand through the whole start-up process, give you strategies to figure out your niche and find your voice.  I’ll also make sure you are legally protected from any iffy situations that might come up.  And give you some critical strategies for how to get started with monetizing your site right from the start.  I have 5 different streams of income you can use in combination on your road to success.    

Don’t be fooled – this is not a magic pill.  Be prepared to WORK.  You will have assignments to complete after every session.  Accountability is a big part of this process and it’s good practice for managing the daily work of running a blog.  It’s going to take a positive attitude and a good amount of hard work.  But if you could do it on your own, you’d have done it by now, right?  It’s time to reach out for some help!

It is still a possibility.  I worked side businesses for many years when my kids were growing up and I was working full-time.  

You can look at my schedule on Calendly.com/helpfornewbloggers.  My schedule is pretty flexible, although I generally schedule calls in the afternoons and evenings.  I can add in some weekend times on request

Part of the process is that we are both fully committed to your business.  If you have an easy way out, it makes it more tempting to give up too early.  If you are unhappy with my coaching, let me know and I will do my best to correct it, but I do not offer refunds on my services.

Since you book your schedules on your own, you are free to book sessions on whatever schedule you prefer.  I do recommend bi-weekly, but if you need more time to complete your homework, that’s fine.  However, all sessions need to be used within a year or they will expire.

No – some people are going to be starting from scratch, but most have a website in place.  Either way, we’ll work together to improve it.  I do create WordPress websites, but that cost would be in addition to your coaching package.  Let’s talk.
